DOCUMENTARY: THE SALT WATER HARVEST


The Salt Water Harvest follows the journey of local commercial fishermen as they harvest seafood, revealing the process from ocean to plate. The film features acclaimed chefs and restaurants including Lennox Hastie from Firedoor, Will Lawson from FIOR, and Josh Niland's Fish Butchery, highlighting their shared commitment to sustainability and ethical sourcing. I created this documentary to share insight into a topic I care deeply about and to help people better understand how they can support sustainable fisheries in Australia.


DOCUMENTARY: KINGFISH OF WHITE ISLAND


In this documentary, I follow a passionate spearfisherman on a mission to catch the fish of a lifetime, a goal he’s been chasing for years. Set in the waters surrounding White Island, New Zealand, home to some of the world’s largest kingfish, the film explores the skill, patience, and respect behind spearfishing and its sustainable practices. Kingfish of White Island dives beneath the surface to show the connection between ocean, hunter, and the pursuit of a lifelong dream.

SHORT DOCUMENTARY FILM: NANA'S LETTER FROM A SINKING ISLAND


Nana’s Letter from a Sinking Island unfolds through a heartfelt letter written by a grandmother to her grandson, a wish for her home to remain, and for their Samoan culture to be preserved as rising seas threaten to wash it away. Blending personal reflection with environmental reality, the film explores heritage, loss, and hope in the face of climate change, reminding us of the deep ties between family, identity, and place.
